Sales Consultant (Internal) - Sandton

Specific Duties include:


- General Sales & Marketing Duties

General Customer Service Duties
Specific Duties include:
- build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers - grow current business with existing customers
- obtain and develop new customers
- accurate reporting and compilation of market information
- competently calculate cost and sales prices for products
- manage the sample process (arranging samples for customers, arranging courier delivery, following-up on progress etc.) - develop annual sales budget (in conjunction with Sales Manager)

  • Computer literate and familiar with standard MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous

  • Education

  • Grade 12 / Matric

  • Bilingual – English & Afrikaans (German would be advantageous)

  • Financial and business acumen / value-added thinking

  • Any formal training in food science, technology and/or chemical field

  • Any formal sales & marketing related skills

  • Sound office administration skills

Needs a Financial Degree or higher

Experience in the following fields are necessary:

  • Xero program

  • Xero Reporting Templates

  • Analytical Review of Management Accounts and Financial Statements

  • Manage Time and Deadlines of Cloud Accountants (Processing by Trainees)

  • Manage client queries

  • Manage Trainee priorities

  • Communicate effectively and clearly with clients

  • Draftworx experience

  • Tax Experience - VAT, EMP201 and EMP501 Reconciliations , Personal and Company Tax Return submissions

  • SARS dispute experience required
